Triton DSP
AltiGen's Triton DSP (digital signal processor) board is a comprehensive multi-media communications platform that delivers unsurpassed power and flexibility to the AltiServ business communication system. When used in concert with the AltiWare IP software, AltiWare OE system software and AltiGen Quantum boards – the Triton DSP board adds advanced voice over IP processing features. This internal voice over IP gateway solution delivers unsurpassed functionality and ease of use due to the fully integrated nature of the AltiServ platform. AltiServ is the only telecommunications system designed from the ground up to support integrated solutions that merge voice and data networks so customers have the flexibility to change when it makes business sense. In the future, when the public network evolves to a single voice and data network, AltiServ will provide full IP PBX functionality (e.g. switching, voice mail, ACD), with the ability to support distinct networks for voice and data as well as other multi-media solutions – all from a single integrated platform.
The AltiServ solution with AltiWare IP delivers the functionality demanded by businesses today. This standards/computer-based PBX with separate networks for voice and data is the ideal platform for merging voice and data networks. AltiServ is fully integrated with the Internet allowing AltiGen customers the choice of placing voice calls over IP trunks or traditional trunks (PSTN). AltiGen's Triton DSP board is the engine for all future AltiServ multi-media solutions.
